The enrolment process for studying by distance is almost identical to the process for studying on campus. There are two steps which you need to take to study online (or on campus):
step 1: application to study
First of all, you need to apply to be a student with Ridley. There is a general form, asking for some of your details, your Christian experience, and some suggested referees.
You can complete this application at any time. In fact it is a good idea to pursue this application as soon as you can. It can take a while to process, and is ideally not left until the last minute.
step 2: registration of units
Once you have been accepted as a student, you then need to specify which particular units you wish to study. Formal registration is finalised during February (for first semester) and July (for second semester).
This process is relatively easy. You can certainly specify your units well in advance of these key registration times, though you will need to confirm them as you start each semester’s study. Once you are formally registered for a unit, you will have access to the appropriate parts of this eRidley website.
Most other questions about the application and registration process should be answered by reading Ridley’s main website on the application process (new window).
